The previous page has reviewed solar energy, wind power and hydroelectric installations. These are the three principal renewable energy technologies that are driving the global transition towards clean and inexhaustable sources of electrical power capable of providing power to all the cities in the developed and emerging economies.
In this section we take a look at the other renewable energy technologies. They are not quite as clean; but they are nowhere near as dirty as fossil fuels. Moreover, they don’t leak, spill, derail, contaminate groundwater, pollute the oceans, or catch fire and explode.
